Skiing
Wildcat & EICSL
Race Awards Party
4/5
Skiing
Wildcat with Tina, Kevin, Dale and Steve. Great conditions even if
we skied in everything from freezing rain, to hail, sleet and snow. From
Wildcat it was
on to the EICSL race awards party at the Cranmore Pub. Thanks to
Angela and Jackie Sorensen for taking a bunch of the pictures.
Several pictures were left out to protect the innocent. As you can
see from below, Marianne and those lips seem to get around.
EICSL Skip
Day/IceBar Weekend
3/21-3/22
Includes
EICSL Skip Day at Attitash, which I'm sure by now those of you who missed
it have heard was a great day for skiing and watching the Red Parka Pub
Race. Continues with a night of of luge at Weymouth Ski Club which
goes to prove you're never too old to get carried away in the moment.
Back to Attitash on Saturday before Icebar and then only a few at Icebar.
Unfortunately I committed the cardinal sin of not bringing enough batteries.
A mixed bag of racers
(a few I can't identify without a race list) and hanging out gatekeeping
pictures, followed by a few at the jury meeting (I have to continue to
harass Paul) and then on to the Clipped Wings traditional tailgate party.
For the better I didn't attempt any at the hat dance.
Cranmore
2/15/03
This weekend had some
of the coldest weather of the winter with temperatures ranging from -10 to
-20 degrees on Saturday and Sunday morning. Window frost from my
room at Fall River Ski Club where it was -12 at 7:30 on Saturday.
Skiing at Cranmore with Kevin, Tina and Claudina was excellent, but cold.
On Sunday afternoon Wildcat put up a celebratory notice in the base lodge
when it got above zero at the base lodge. Not too many pictures...
too cold!
Cranmore Race
Weekend
2/8/03
Art & Libby at the conclusion
of the race, Jerry, Paul and Alfred before the jury meeting, Mike ripping
through the NASTAR finish, the Shamus clan with new addition Ronald Shamus
III, and members of the Blitzschnell Ski Club enjoying themselves at the
Weymouth M&M following the race.
EICSL Trip

My
collection of photographs from the trip. I don't have to tell anyone
who went how great a trip this was. Anyone who went who would like
