For a blast down memory lane check out the Mt. Whittier page on the New England Lost Ski Area Project Site. They have Whittier closing in 1985, but that must have been the official death well after the various fires and take-over by Mario the spaghetti king. I believe the last year it really ran as a ski area with snow was the 1978-79 season.

	Nancy Boardman, by her vest, was apparently TD for the day. According to the date on the slide this was taken during the 1977 season. Not quite enough parking lot visible to see if my old Fiat was running that day.
	Riding the T-bar. Guaranteed to break down around 2pm every day toward the end. I still have a vague recollection of taking this shot which won a prize in a photo competition. 1977
	I'm guessing this was a race at Attitash. Among the crowd is Neal Whittredge, Helen Morse, Jeanne Martin and a bunch of other folks I don't recognize who could have been Ski Wheelers.
